When is the 2016 MLB All Star Game: TV Schedule, Online Stream?

A common question that baseball fans ask as we approach the mid-point of the MLB season is when exactly is the 2016 MLB All Star game, and what is the TV and online streaming schedule? For the 2016 season, the MLB game will be held at Petco Park in San Diego, California on Tuesday, July 12th. Before the big game; however, the home run hitting contest will take place on Monday, and the MLB futures game was held on Sunday. The activities of the three days of events will be shown in partnership between ESPN, FOX, and the MLB Network. Depending on the event, you will be able to check out the stream on MLB.com, Fox Sports Go, or Watch ESPN.


What is the MLB Futures Game?

The MLB Futures Game is a showcase of all of the top prospects in baseball. All of the 30 MLB teams will have some type of representation during the game that is divided into two teams. For 2016, Moises Alou will be in charge of managing the World Team while former San Diego Padres relief pitcher Trevor Hoffman will be managing the United States team.

When Does the 2016 MLB All Star Game get Started?

The 2016 MLB All Star Game will get started on Tuesday night at 8PM. Prior to the 87th edition of the MLB All Star Game kicking off, there will be an All Star Red Carpet Show that is streamed on MLB.com and shown live on the MLB Network. The All Star pregame kicks off at 7PM (ET) on Fox Sports1 and at 7:30PM (ET) on Fox. The game will kickoff at 8PM (ET) and will be shown on Fox and streamed on Fox Sports Go. The announcers for the All Star Game include: Joe Buck, John Smoltz, Tom Verducci, and Ken Rosenthal.
