Washington Nationals 2016 MLB Draft Results

The Washington Nationals 2016 MLB draft results are now complete and listed for you to enjoy. The Nats took shortstop Carter Kieboom from Walton High School with their first round pick in the 2016 MLB Draft this year. He is the brother of Nats minor league catcher, Spencer Kieboom, and is currently committed to playing college ball at Clemson next year. The team is high on his baseball IQ, fielding, and great quickness, speed, and strength and took him with the 28th pick in the draft. With the 29th overall pick, the team took right handed pitcher, Dane Dunning from Florida. Dunning is a right handed pitcher who throws a mid-90’s fastball and currently pitching out of the bullpen for Florida. The Nats eventually see him as a major league starter.
