2016 NFL Christmas Schedule: Times, TV Schedules, Online Stream

Unlike the better-known NFL Thanksgiving football schedule, playing on Christmas Day is not a regular occurrence in the NFL. We have published the 2016 NFL Christmas Schedule to include the times, TV schedules, and online streaming options for fans to enjoy the two games being played on December 25th this season. Over the course of the NFL’s history, there have not been a significant number of games played on Christmas. In fact, after playing two playoff games on Christmas in 1971, the league did not hold another game on this date until 1989. More recently, the NFL held two games on X-mas each year between 2004 and 2006. The current policy by the league is to only play games on the 25th if it falls on a normal game day. This year, the NFL moved the grunch of the games to the 24th, with two being held for Christmas, and one for the 26th (or Boxing Day). If you would like to check out the remainder of the 2016 NFL Week 16 schedule, we also have that posted for fans to see what other games will be occurring during this same week. You can also get a head start on checking out the 2017 NFL Playoff Schedule. Enjoy!
