2016 NBA Christmas Schedule: Times, Matchups, and TV Lineups

Unlike the NFL, the NBA has traditionally held a number of games on Christmas Day. The 2016 NBA Christmas schedule features five games this year. One of the most anticipated matchups of the day features a rematch of the 2016 NBA Finals with the Golden State Warriors playing at the Cleveland Cavaliers. This year will be the first time that the Miami Heat have not played on December 25th since 2008. Instead, Dwyane Wade and his new team, the Chicago Bulls, will be featured against the San Antonio Spurs. Fans will also be treated to seeing the Minnesota Timberwolves play against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the event you would also like to check out the regular season schedule of your favorite team, we have that posted along with the 2017 NBA playoff schedule. The Christmas games mark the unofficial start to the “rest” of the NBA schedule when fans start to tune in more frequently as college football and the NFL wrap up.
