2016 MLB Home Run Derby Results, Stanton Hits 61 HRs!

One of the most anticipated events of the MLB All Star Break is the Home Run Derby. Playing under the simplified head-head rules developed in 2015, Miami Marlins slugger, Giancarlo Stanton has won the 2016 MLB Home Run Derby. During his road to winning the contest, Stanton hit a magical 61 total home runs taking down 2015 MLB Home Run Derby Champion, Todd Frazier in the process. The contest pitted eight MLB sluggers against each other seeded from 1 to 8 based on their regular season home run totals through the final MLB games before the All Star break. The 2016 MLB All Star Game will take place on Tuesday Night at 8PM and will be shown both on TV and online at Petco Park in San Diego, California. If you are a die-hard baseball fan, you can checkout the schedule for your favorite team coming up after the All Star Break here as well as the 2016 MLB World Series and 2016 MLB Playoff schedules.
