2016 College Football AP Poll – Week 3

The 2016 college football AP poll for week 3 of the season is out. We have renumbered our rankings based on the convention being to treat the preseason poll as week 1, so you haven’t missed anything! Alabama remains atop the poll this week with 56 first place votes. Florida State moved up to #2 this week setting up a highly anticipated matchup against now #10 Louisville this weekend. Ohio State moved up one to #3, and Clemson dropped to #5 after a less-than-stellar outing last week. Georgia had the biggest drop of teams still ranked losing seven spots in the polls, and both TCU and Oklahoma State fell from the rankings this week after losing their games last weekend. Each week that goes by this season sees more teams fall out of contention for one of the four coveted spots in the College Football Playoff, so it definitely poses to be another exciting weekend of college football!
