2014 NBA Draft Lottery Order

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the odds this year and earned the #1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft Lottery for the third time in four years. The Cavs had a much better 2013-14 NBA regular season that the previous year; however, despite only 1 .7 % shot at earning the number one pick were able to do so this year. This will be the second  consecutive year that the team will have the #1 pick, and were able to beat out the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks for the top pick. The 76ers were able to obtain the third overall pick and the Bucks the second pick for the 2014 NBA Draft.

Who Will the Cavaliers Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft?

This probably the biggest debate right now between the various draft pundits and NBA mock draft authors online right now. Depending on who you listen to either Andrew Wiggins or Joel Embiid will likely be taken first in the draft. Jabari Parker is a popular second or third choice in the draft, but there are not many sites who believe the Cavs will take him as the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. The next “three” players that are popular in many of the mock drafts now that the NBA Draft Lottery order has been released include Aussie point guard Dante Exum, Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart, and Kentucky Wildcat power forward, Julius Randle. We will all have to wait and see; however, which of the players will be taken in the top five to ten picks in this year’s draft!
