2009 NFL Draft Results

The 2009 NFL Draft was the 74th overall draft by the National Football League. The draft took place on April 25th and April 26th, 2009 at Radio City Music Hall located in New York City. The first day of the draft started at 4PM an consisted of two rounds. The second round of the draft started at 10 am and consisted of five rounds. The Detroit Lions who became famous by finishing 0-16 the previous season used the first pick of the draft to select quarterback Matt Stafford who continues to play for the team.
